I thought I'd start my photography blog with some old photoshoots. Back when I was still using my trusty Canon EOS Rebel T2i/550D, I would look out for any big events happening near by that I could capture. Leeds being a multi cultural city, had a wide selection of festivities of all sorts. One of the most celebrated annual events was from the West Indian community in Chapel Town - Leeds West Indian Carnival, or just Leeds Carnival for short.
Simply equipped with my trusty 550D and my Sigma 35mm Art lens, this focal length (which was more like 50mm on the crop sensor) was ideal for capturing the the crowds, the colours and the carnival madness.
I was exhausted and sun burnt by the end of it all, an amazing event to capture.
