Grand Cayman is known mostly for its pristine beaches and and blue seas, but not many people are here long enough to appreciate the vibrant colours in the plant life. I don’t think I particularly noticed them the first year I moved to the Cayman Islands, but this year I couldn’t help but notice these beautiful orange-red Poinciana tree’s dotted around the island in places like West Bay and South Sound. These beautiful trees are definitely over looked amongst the sunshine and palm trees in Grand Cayman, and I was so excited to use these brilliant colours as a backdrop for portrait photography. Big thanks to Staycy for offering to help me achieve these cool photographs.
